Pianist Maximilian Schairer has won several first prizes at festivals and competitions in Europe and the USA. He is also a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, among others. He made his orchestral debut at the age of 12 with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra.

Concert invitations have taken him to Europe, Indonesia, and the USA, to festivals such as LUCERNE FESTIVAL and the Salzburg Festival, and to concert halls such as the Opéra Bastille in Paris, the Toni-Areal in Zurich, and Carnegie Hall New York. In debut and return engagements, he delights audiences with his “heart, multi-faceted wit, great tonal color, and personality” as a soloist with orchestras such as the Stuttgart Philharmonic, in recitals, and in various chamber music formations, including with the ensemble of the Stuttgart State Orchestra.

He has initiated creative concert formats and commissioned new works, which he premiered. He also brings classical music to young audiences through events and school workshops and is in demand as a lecturer for courses and talks. His debut solo album “GLOAMING” (2023) attracted international attention, was broadcast repeatedly on radio, including SRF, and was featured in Lufthansa’s in-flight entertainment program.

In 2025, he released the album “AURORA – Northern Lights” with violinist Philipp Jonas.

His work is documented in numerous studio and radio recordings as well as TV appearances, including for BR-Klassik and SWR. He regularly shares his activities with his followers on social media. In his free time, he loves getting creative in the kitchen.
